Cristiano Ronaldo Shows Great Skill, UCL Finals

In the recent UEFA Champions League finals match between Manchester United and Chelsea, Cristiano Ronaldo showed many great skills even though he missed the penalty kick during the shoot out. Here are videos of a few of the skills he paraded.

Mediterranean Cruise

If football or soccer has its greats like Pele, Diego Maradona, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, David Beckham, Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo, the Bible has its list of great people, too. In the Old Testament are Abraham, Moses, Joshua, David and many others. In the New Testament are, of course, Jesus, the apostles and one great man is Paul who traveled in different parts of what is now known as Europe. is a web site that arranges Christian Cruises to locations that Paul went to during his missionary journeys. This specific Christian Cruise entitled as Footsteps of Paul Christian Cruise takes travelers around the Mediterranean Sea aboard the Star Clipper. This cruise line is a luxury, 4-masted “tall ship” and is an authentic sailing vessel which has all the amenities and activities found on a private yacht.

The trip begins at Athens and Mars Hill. It then moves to Pergamum where the seven churches mentioned in the book of Revelation are found. The next destination is Ephesus where Paul delivered one of his most powerful and moving sermons. Next stop is the island of Patmos where the actual cave where John had been banished and received the Revelation from God is found. Visit this site on Christian Cruises for more information.

Are You a Movie Maker?

The English Premier League title? Manchester United won it. UEFA Champions League? That would be between Chelsea and the Red Devils, too. What about the Dockers contest? Nobody has won it yet. Maybe this is your chance to make it big. Dockers started a TV commercial contest and you can find it at NBC’s web site. Anyone can join the contest. I think all you have to do is make a video about Dockers and then submit this video that you made.

I have viewed a few of the videos submitted by other people and there is one that I like most. I included the video in this post (below). I like it because it has got an international theme. It relates well to many people around the world especially because it showed how the word pants is called in other nations, and it included how we call it in our country. In the Philippines, where I am at, the word pants is called “pantalon”. I think it was a clever way of putting together different nationalities with just the use of a single word.

So why not make your own video and submit it? Who knows? Maybe you could win a prize for it.

I Dare You to Watch It

As a man who plays and loves sports, most especially soccer, I don’t easily get intimidated by anything. At thirty two years of age, I don’t get scared by ghost movies or scary movies. But as I watched the trailer of the movie entitled Frontier(s), I did get that disturbing feeling inside of me again. It has been a long time since I felt this way about a scary movie. Before watching this movie’s trailer I had to wait for my son to get tucked in bed just to make sure he won’t be around to see or hear the screams and the gore as I view the clip of the Trailer online.

This controversial French movie was released in selected theaters last May 9 and DVD’s will be available in stores on the 13th of May. This is so controversial that is why some of the images and parts of the movie trailer are unsuitable for some audiences. Another trivia about this movie is that is unrated a yet it got into theaters. Most unrated movies do not get to theaters for being unrated. Frontier(s) is a movie by After Dark Films. I dare anyone to view this movie’s trailer.
